1) Boil 2 Cups of Filtered Water
2) Chop about 2.5 cups of cabbage then put into a blender adding the boiled water on top
3) Blend well at a low speed until you no longer see any big pieces
4) Add in any fruits or veggies you want to sweeten it up also chopping them first, or add some stevia
5) Cool and serve
Cabbage Stew Recipe
- 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 to 4 garlic cloves, to taste, minced
- 1 red bell pepper, diced
- 1 small cabbage (about 1 1/2 pounds), cored and shredded or diced (about 6 cups)
- 1 small dried red chili pepper
- ½ teaspoon sugar
- 1 28-ounce can chopped tomatoes, with juice
- 2 teaspoons paprika
- 1 tablespoon sherry vinegar
- Freshly ground pepper
Step 1 – Heat the olive oil over medium heat in a skillet that has a lid. Add onion, pepper and garlic until tender, about 3 minutes. Add cabbage and stir until it has softened about 4 to 5 minutes. Add the spices and tomatoes cooking about 10 minutes then cover and lower the heat to simmer for about 30 minutes stirring often.
Step 2 – Add the vinegar and salt and pepper to taste letting simmer another 10 minutes or so. Enjoy!
